add Facebook comments & likes from threadsy

We just released a small but important feature. Now you can comment on or like any Facebook update in your Unbound stream directly from threadsy. Any comments and likes you add while using threadsy will show up in Facebook, and vice versa.

Commenting
A comment indicator on the bottom of each Facebook update shows how many comments the update has. Click it to read all of the comments and add your own.

Liking
Next to the comment indicator is the Like icon. Click it to like a Facebook update. Click it again to unlike.

Another idea: “Abhor”
Have you read a particularly lame Facebook status update recently? It might have even been from a good friend. Facebook lets you hide friends, but what if it’s just an abnormally, incredibly lame update? Hiding seems too drastic an action. What about a dislike action? We’ve actually been calling it ‘abhor’ around here.

The icon is ready to go. We want to see what you think. Well, what do you think?

I like the idea of ‘abhor’. It might be interesting to also have that happen automatically if the message/tweet/whatever falls into certain parameters. For example, when Apple launches a new product my stream becomes flooded with “Check out this new X thing”. I’d love to cut out that noise automatically. Or maybe even a “Hide messages similar to this one” button ;-)

I love the “Hide messages similar to this one” idea!

Hmmm… I don’t know if it matters at all. What I mean is that the updates and message flow move so fast in the unbound channel that it doesn’t really matter if I hide a friend or an update.
But, agree that the ‘like’ and comment function are very nice.
    Keep up the good work!

What do you think of showing the poster of the Facebook update that you ‘abhor’ the post too?

Turn it on. We’re an early community. You’ll know soon enough. :)

Abhor is probably strong if you’re going to notify the poster.

Would the “abhor” tag reflect back to fb/tw somehow?
